The biggest gathering of dance specialists was attended this year by 442 CID members from 51 countries of the 5 continents.
Its content broke all records: the program included 234 presentations:
49 research reports
53 lectures
42 classes on all forms of dance, by 42 teachers
67 performances - solos, duos and ensembles
10 video projections
13 exhibitions
11 university professors from 6 countries served as members of the Scientific Committee.
40 CID members worked hard as volunteers within the Congress Team.

The 23rd World Congress will take place 1-5 July 2009 in Athens. Researchers, teachers, choreographers and performers representing all forms of dance are invited to submit presentations. Free proceedings DVD sent upon registration, see    www.orchesis-portal.org/cdr/
